Amazing Lakes of the Mountain

Target Specification

This package will take you to enjoy four highland lakes over the center of Kerinci Seblat National Park, which are Lake Kerinci (around 800 meter asl), Belibis Lake (1800 meter above sea level), Lake Ladeh Panjang (1950 meter asl, and Gunung Tujuh Lake (1996 meter asl). which is the highest peat lake over the southeast Asia.

Observing wildlife along the trip, and typical highland lake flora and fauna. Several species of primates, birds and big mammalian are waiting to peacefully pose for your camera.

Day 1 Arrive and picked up at Jambi Airport, check in for hotel accomodation, visit Batik Village at the afternoon, stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 Land travel to Sungai Penuh (10 hours driving)
Day 3 Start early in the morning drive around the Lake Kerinci near by the Sungai Penuh city, hike up some high spot to view the entire drop area, Lunch at Sungai Penuh, and drive at the afternoon up to Kersik Tuo, Kayu Aro, stay overnight at Home stay Paiman.
Day 4 Hike up to Lake Gunung Tujuh (will take you around 3 hours), overnight camping out here will be optional. This night scene may offer you noisy sounds of nocturnes, and amazing sunrise on the west side of the lake.
Day 5 Hike down to Kersik Tuo, and stay overnight at Paiman Homestay
Day 6 Morning start to hike up to Lake Belibis, observe some water birds playing on the lake, observe primates, and birds along the trek.
This will take you up to 3 hours walk. Landscape of Kayu Aro Valley will be something fantastic to view from the foothill of Lake Belibis Hill.
Back to Kersik Tuo in the afternoon.
Day 7 Leave Kersik Tuo to Jambi, and stay overnight at the Hotel.
Day 8 Depart Jambi by first flight of the day.
