The founding of Jambi Web Commerce is a very strategic need to face the globalization era due to the unlimited information flow, makes it even accessable to the world wide.This internet site created and managed by several Jambinese young talents, has become a significant proud of The Province of Jambi. This show how the Jambinese has not intention to be left behind in actively applying the information technology especially in introducing and promoting Jambi on to the cyber world.

Geographically , The Province of Jambi represent a very strategic position to be located right in the heart of Sumatra Island with up to 5.4 million hectares which is relatively close to its neighbouring regions , Batam, Malaysia, and Singapore. This has positioned Jambi to have a comparative investation advantage, This advantage has been supported by the potential of unexploited natural resources, the supporting factors as for the roads, airlines, and utility networks like electricity, telephones, clean water which dominantly had been developed and being empowered simultaneously. The ecotourism based tourism is growing rapidly as initiated by the presence of 4 National Parks, that are Kerinci Seblat National Park, Berbak National Park, Bukit Duabelas National Park and Bukit Tigapuluh National Park.

The administration and the government management is now being developed and managed by professionals, which is to enhance them, recruited professionals from outside the goivernment, like from the businessman and from Universities. As a result of this professional comprehensive management by the government, and with the aid of every parties in Jambi, had enabled The Provinci of Jambi to be the second safest province in Indonesia. And to the support by its people, hereby the government of Jambi states that The Province of Jambi is safe and condusive for government and investation.

Regarding this issue, The Governor of Jambi would like to express his motto " To make simple of everything difficult, instead of makes simple thing difficult, as to serve investor instead of asking to be served "
